2 matches will get the national spotlight on Thursday evening in Football preseason sports betting. The 1st competition that will be televised on the NFL Network has the New York Giants hosting the Patriots. The early part of the competition should be engaging if the starters for each squad get on the field.

The running game was nothing special as Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for 63 yards.

Backup Quarterbacks – The New England Patriots have Brian Hoyer as their backup to Tom Brady. Since Brady will not play long it will essentially be Hoyer’s competition. He’s been pretty good in relief of Brady in the preseason so the New England Patriots aren’t despairing. The Giants have a major difficulty after Eli Manning leaves the competition on Thursday. Their backup is Jim Sorgi though he has been injured. It has been third-string quarterback Rhett Bomar who has been receiving plenty of the action. He doesn’t genuinely offer you much confidence. You have to worry about Bomar playing poorly, though you may like to make your wager on the New York Giants in this competition versus the Football preseason lines. It is achievable that Sorgi will return for this game and since Sorgi will want to play well to make sure he still has the backup quarterback job, and that could be good news for New York.
